Join us on an unforgettable adventure, snorkeling with the whale sharks - the oceans gentle giant, and biggest fish!

Please note, this is an excursion run by 3rd party, off the coast of Cancun. You will need to take the 6:30 am ferry from Cozumel to Playa del Carmen (you need to arrive at 6 AM to purchase your tickets at the kiosk - if you miss the ferry, you will miss the tour - it is non-refundable). 

In the event of no sightings, no refunds are given. Please note, this tour is weather-dependent. We will be in touch in the event we have some weather predictions closer to the date of your tour which may require you to reschedule.

From Cozumel:

- You will need to arrive to the COZUMEL FERRY PIER AT 6:00 AM to purchase your ticket for the 6:30 AM ULTRAMAR FERRY TO PLAYA DEL CARMEN. 

- DO NOT ARRIVE ANY LATER THAN 6:00 AM OR YOU RISK LOSING YOUR FERRY - AND YOUR WHOLE TOUR.

- The ferry ride is approximately 40 minutes. 

- When you arrive to PLAYA DEL CARMEN, you will EXIT the FERRY TERMINAL and the details of the meeting point will be sent on your confirmation email. 


From Playa del Carmen or Cancun:

Pick-ups are available from most popular hotels (inquire for more details)


Itinerary (Subject to Change):

- 1-1.5 hour transport from Playa del Carmen to Cancun.

- Briefing and breakfast at the marina.

- Option to purchase souvenirs and photos. (extra fee, cash only)

- 45-100 minute boat ride to locate whale sharks.

- Guided snorkeling with whale sharks.

- Snorkeling in Isla Mujeres (weather permitting).

- Beach time and lunch at Playa Norte (40-60 minutes).

- Transport back to Playa del Carmen around 4PM.


Included:

- Round-trip air-conditioned van transportation from Playa del Carmen to Cancun (1.5 hours each way).

- Light continental breakfast at the Cancun marina before departure.

- Fins, mask, snorkel, and a mandatory life jacket are provided.

- Water on board and lunch featuring ceviche, guacamole, and cold non-alcoholic drinks.

- Bilingual crew members and fully equipped boats with first aid kits, GPS, and VHF radio.

Not included:

- Round trip ferry from Cozumel to Playa del Carmen

- Photos or videos

- $15 USD (or $300 pesos) per person for the docking fee (cash only, exact change preferred).


What to Bring:

- Wear your bathing suit and consider bringing a change of clothes for the drive home.

- Don’t forget a towel.

- A hat, sunglasses, long pants, and a long-sleeved shirt for sun protection.

- Reef-safe sunscreen for the boat ride (no aerosol sprays allowed).

- $15 USD (or $300 pesos) per person for the docking fee (cash only, exact change preferred).

If you’re prone to motion sickness, we highly recommend taking Dramamine the night before, the morning of, and one hour prior to boarding. The boat ride can be choppy, and you will be out on the ocean for the whole day.
