The Solmar V is a pioneer liveaboard dive boat operating in the waters of Socorro, Guadalupe, and other destinations in the Pacific Ocean. From Cozumel:

- You will need to arrive to the COZUMEL FERRY PIER AT 6:00AM to purchase your ticket for the 6:30 AM XCARET FERRY TO PLAYA DEL CARMEN. 

- DO NOT ARRIVE ANY LATER THAN 6:00 AM OR YOU RISK LOSING YOUR FERRY - AND YOUR WHOLE TOUR.

- The ferry ride is approximately 40 minutes. 

- When you arrive to PLAYA DEL CARMEN, you will EXIT the FERRY TERMINAL and we will transport you to Cancun, Hacienda del Mar Marina.  

- Boat Departs at 9 AM from HAcienda del Mar Marina in Cancun

The ride to the Shark Safari area is around 1:30 hours.  

A friendly reminder to:

- Wear your bathing suit, you may want to bring a change of clothes for your drive home

- Take a towel

- Hat, sunglasses, long pants & long sleeves recommended

- Sunscreen for the boat ride (must be reef safe - no aerosols permitted)

- If you are affected by motion sickness, we can highly recommend taking Dramamine the night before, the morning of, and an hour before boarding the boat. You will be on board for the whole day, it's common to have choppy seas while you are out in the middle of the ocean
