Experience the largest aggregation of Whale Sharks in the world. Be ready for a full day on the water, including fresh ceviche, and a stop at Playa Norte - one of Mexico's top beaches at the tip of Isla Mujeres. We offer departures from Playa del Carmen & Cancun. If staying in Cozumel you’ll need to take the 6 AM ferry to meet our third-party partner for your once-in-a-lifetime experience.

From Cozumel:
- You will need to arrive to the COZUMEL FERRY PIER AT 5:30AM to purchase your ticket for the 6AM ULTRAMAR FERRY TO PLAYA DEL CARMEN.
- DO NOT ARRIVE ANY LATER THAN 5:30AM OR YOU RISK LOSING YOUR FERRY - AND YOUR WHOLE TOUR.
- The ferry ride is approximately 40 minutes.
- When you arrive to PLAYA DEL CARMEN, you will EXIT the FERRY TERMINAL and WALK TO PLAZA ANTIGUA to meet your guide and catch the transportation to Cancun at 6:50am.
The ride to the whale sharks is around 1:30 hours. It is the largest aggregation in the world. There is always a chance to spot Giant Mantas too.
After swimming with the whale sharks they will make a stop on the way back at Isla Mujeres and serve lunch and drinks at a beach.
Then you will be taken back to the boarding dock and back to Playa del Carmen.
-The tour finishes around 1:30 PM.

Additional information:
- You will have a light continental breakfast on the marina before departure

- Ham/Cheese Sandwiches (please bring your own lunch to be added to the cooler if you have dietary restrictions)
- Fins, mask, snorkel, life jacket (mandatory) provided
A friendly reminder to:
- Wear your bathing suit, you may want to bring a change of clothes for your drive home
- Take a towel
- Hat, sunglasses, long pants & long sleeves recommended
- Sunscreen for the boat ride (must be reef safe - no aerosols permitted)
- $20USD CASH per person to pay the docking fee (EXACT CHANGE - they will not have change for 100USD or 50USD)
- If you are affected by motion sickness, we can highly recommend taking Dramamine the night before, the morning of, and an hour before boarding the boat to the whale sharks. You will be on board for the whole day, it's common to have choppy seas while you are out in the middle of the ocean
